On February 12 and 13, 2021, the Student-Doctoral Scientific Conference of ChAT-EWST theologians was held once again. The conference was completely online for the first time.
Commission of the Polish Ecumenical Council. The scientific supervisors of this year’s conference were Dr. hab. prof. ChAT Kalina Wojciechowska (ChAT) and Dr. Joel Burnell (EWST).
Due to the prevailing pandemic, the meetings took place in a virtual space and was a videoconference attended not only by the participants, but also by guests from all over Poland. In order to meet the broad interests of students, the organizers chose a text from the Holy Bible: “What people value highly is detestable in God’s sight. ” (Lk 16:15).
During the session, 18 papers by young scientists who represented 12 universities from Poland and abroad were presented. Topics concerned not only theological issues, but also historical, psychological and social aspects. In addition to the papers devoted to the exact biblical studies, there were also themes related to pastoral issues and other multifaceted issues of the humanities.
There were interesting lectures during which dynamic and multi-threaded discussions took place and gave hope for further development of the project of the cyclical Conference.
The organizers announced that the next edition of the meeting will be held in Wrocław in 2021. If you are interested, please follow the conference website on Facebook
