Overview of Ministry at EST

Ministry practicum is an integral part of the EST curriculum in the B.A. program. The goal is to train students in areas of specialization as workers and mentors in the development of spiritual life, leaders of evangelical churches and communities and Christian organizations in Poland, and service abroad as missionaries.

Students often use the theoretical knowledge learned in their courses at EST when they are involved in practical tasks of serving in various areas of ministry: pastors, church leaders, missions, charities, helping with social needs, and educational ministries. Additionally, EST wants students to develop their professional and team building skills, an attitude of being active, and integration with the entire EST community.

The specific location and responsibility of an internship is proposed by the EST Coordinator, however it could be also a student’s initiative to establish cooperation with a new place, which matches the EST vision.

Every student is required to do 150 hours of internship during four years of studies.
