Welcome to a new semester at the Academy of the Third Age at Evangelical School of Theology! In 2024, we will focus on issues related to ecology capturing them from the interdisciplinary perspective.
The program of lectures in the first semester of 2024 is devoted to issues related to ecology. We will see the topic in many various aspects with the help of specialists in diverse fields – theologians and biblical scholars, religious scholars, people involved in culture, and eco-educators. During lectures, workshops, and film shows, we will learn, among others, about the attitude to nature and its protection in various religions, the resulting ecotheological currents or trends beyond anthropocentrism in the interpretation of the most important religious texts and truths of faith.

We will also learn about contemporary problems and solutions aimed at protecting the climate both on a macro and micro scale – by changing the habits and behavior of individuals.

Ecology and climate crisis will also be general topics of the Film Therapy series – we will present films regarding these problems and inspiring pro-environmental actions and environmental activism.

ATA once again received co-financing from the Municipality of Wroclaw. Thus, we can offer valuable activities to all interested in the proposed topics. Admission to all lectures and workshops is free and does not require prior registration.
