About 4,000 people from Central and Eastern Europe participated in a Meeting of Christians (Christlichen Begegnungstage Mittel- und Osteuropa) in Centennial Hall in Wroclaw. The two day event included music, concerts, speakers (including former Prime Minister Jerzy Buzek) and booths at the Opportunity Fair. In the evening there was a light show at the fountain near Centennial Hall. There was also regional television coverage of the event.
The EST Educational Center had a booth that promoted the B.A. program, Open Academy of Theology, Academy of Third Age and library. There was much interest in the EST EC and the staff and librarian who worked at the booth on Friday and Saturday were kept busy answering questions, giving away materials and sharing about the various programs and activities of EST EC.
